Accepted into New Show

I received word this weekend that my painting, The Nest, was accepted as part of the "Shade of Green" exhibition at the Stewart Gallery in Gloucester, VA. I'm very excited and honored to be accepted along with several other prestigious artists. Shades of Green opens the last week of February with the reception on Friday, March 1st from 5 to 7 p.m. Please swing by and say hello and see what sorts of Green appeals to you!

I would like to meet you and possibly study with you. I have recently moved to Kilmarnock and am now rediscovering my art expression. I studied at VCU in communication art and design but was always pulled towards painting. My father was an artist. He was a portrait artist and went to RPI in fashion design. I have been working in pastels and acrylics recently. I love drawing but have a hard time transferring my work to paint. I see you have a few classes at RAL.
